How long will it take for my shipment to arrive via UPS Ground?

Where is my order?

You will be able to track your Gnu Foods orders once they have been shipped.

When your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail. The subject line of that e-mail will be: "Your Order (# XYZ) has been shipped." This e-mail will include a UPS® tracking number as well as a link to the UPS® website for real time tracking information.

To check your order status at any time, you can visit My Account.

I received an incorrect item in my order; what should I do?

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused. Please go to the Contact Us section (above) and send us an e-mail. We will respond to you as quickly as possible to correct the error. Please include your order number and the product you received in error in your e-mail message.

My order was damaged in transit; what should I do?

We are sorry to hear that your order was damaged in transit. We will be happy to replace the damaged items. To have this issue resolved as quickly as possible, we ask that you Contact Us and send us an e-mail.

In your e-mail, please include your order number and what item(s) was damaged. We will get back to you with the next steps. We may request that you return the damaged items to us. Please do not throw your damaged items away until you have been contacted by us.

We will pay for the return postage if it is necessary for you to send the item(s) back to us.

What is Gnu Foods’ return policy?

Your total satisfaction is important to us. You may return any item you ordered from GnuFoods.com for a full credit or refund, less shipping charges. Please keep the following in mind:

  • Returned items should be in their original packaging.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving them.

If your order shipped for free, there will be a shipping charge applied to your return. Please check our Shipping Charge Chart for the charge.

Once we have received your returned item(s), we will issue a credit or refund within 5 business days. Please note that it may take one or two cycles to show up on your credit card statement depending on the policies of your bank.

Can my shipping and billing addresses be different?

Yes. During the checkout process process you will be asked for your billing address and shipping addresses separately. When entering your billing address you also have the option of shipping your order to the same address.

You may update either your shipping or billing address at any time by going to My Account after you have logged in.

Is the credit card information I submit secure?

Absolutely. Every step of the Gnu Foods’ online ordering process that requests credit card information employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. SSL makes your information unreadable should anyone attempt to intercept it.

Yes. Simply Log In and visit the Joy of Fiber Club if you would like to make a one-time change to your Joy of Fiber order. If you would like to go back to your regular bar quantity after the one-time increase, please return to the Joy of Fiber Club to make the change back to your regular monthly quantity.

Can I skip/delay my next order?

Yes, you can skip/delay your order for up to 2 months.Once you Log In, please go to the Joy of Fiber Club to Change Your Next Ship Date.  If you would like to skip more than 2 months, we suggest you cancel your Joy of Fiber Club membership and re-subscribe to the program at your convenience.

I don’t remember signing up for automatic monthly shipments of Gnu Bars. How do I cancel?

It is never our intention to send unwanted product to our customers.

We are sorry if you were unclear about the Joy of Fiber Club when you joined. Please Log In and go to the Joy of Fiber Club to cancel your membership.

If you want to return an order, simply mail it back to us as at 1123 Broadway, New York, NY 10010 and we will refund the cost of that order, less shipping charges.

How do I cancel?

After you Log In, please visit the Joy of Fiber Club to cancel your Joy of Fiber Club Membership.  Please allow 1 business day for your cancellation to become effective.

If your current month’s order has been shipped, your cancellation will take effect with next month’s order. If your current month’s shipment is not scheduled to go out within the next day, your cancellation will be effective with your current shipment.

Why was my friend’s e-mail rejected?

The friends you refer must be new to Gnu Foods; meaning not already a Gnu Foods customer, or a friend of someone else, or a person who has contacted us and is in our database.

Where will you send my check?

We will send your check to the preferred Billing Address we have on file for your account. If we do not have an address for you, please go to My Account to enter a billing address, or we will contact you to get one before we issue you a check.

How will I know when my friends place an order and how do I get credited?

Once one of your friends places an order over $19.99, their status will be updated on My Spread the Gnus Summary Page.

When you have 5 friends who have placed an order of $19.99 or more, we will send you a check for $20 or make a $20 donation to Feeding America. You can always review the status of your friends’ purchases on My Spread the Gnus Summary Page.

Can you explain the status on My Spread The Gnus Summary Page?

We’ll send an e-mail soon = We’ll be sending your friends an e-mail shortly with a special offer.

We sent them an e-mail = We’ve sent your friend an e-mail with a special offer.

Already know this person = Sorry. Your friend isn’t eligible for the Spread the Gnus offer, because we already know them.

They shopped @Gnu = Your friend shopped at GnuFoods.com and made a qualifying purchase of $19.99+. This will count towards earning your next reward.

They’re not interested = Your friend asked that no more e-mails be sent to them.

You’ve earned it = You have been rewarded for this friend’s purchase at Gnu. A check was sent either to you, or to Feeding® America, based on your selection.

E-mail will not be sent = We only send a maximum of 3 e-mails to each friend.

They’re not interested = Your friend asked that no more e-mails be sent to them.

E-mail will not be sent = We limit e-mails to one e-mail per friend per 24 hour period. Please try again tomorrow.

Is my donation to Feeding® America tax-deductible?

No. Every month we pool the Spread the Gnus donations earned by all of our participants, add a donation of our own and send one contribution check to Feeding® America. If you want your Spread the Gnus earnings to be tax-deductible, we recommend that you switch your reward selection to cash at My Spread the Gnus Summary page and donate your cash rewards directly to Feeding® America.

Our 7-bar Sampler and the Joy of Fiber Club have deep discounts and we also pick up the shipping on these products; therefore, we aren’t able to offer an additional 20% discount on these items.
